Q:
What are the course prerequisites?  
A:
  • MailGate Administration: Basic Networking Knowledge
  • Email Firewall Administration: Win2003 experience (as appropriate)
  • Secure Messenger Administration: Win2003 experience (as appropriate), suggested EMF Admin
  • SecureTransport Administration: Linux/Windows experience (as appropriate)
  • SecureTransport Development: Some programming experience (Java and/or Perl), suggested ST Admin

Q:
What is your policy on customer cancellations?
A:
For customer-site classes and those conducted in Phoenix, Atlanta, Redwood City, or regional sites in the US or the UK, if you need to cancel your registration, you must let Axway Customer Training know by email to training@us.axway.com at least ten (10) business days before the class start date to receive a full refund of class fees. Cancellations may be billed certain fees and costs as detailed below:
  • Cancellation 10 business days or more before start of the class: 100% refund of class fees, but customer will be billed for any non-recoverable preparation costs already incurred (e.g., printed materials, shipping costs, non-refundable air travel, etc.)
  • Cancellation 6 to 9 business days before start of the class: 50% refund of class fees, but customer will be billed for any non-recoverable preparation costs already incurred.
  • Cancellation 5 business days or less before start of the class: No refund of class fees and customer will be billed for any non-recoverable preparation costs already incurred.
   
Q:
What about Axway/Tumbleweed cancellations?
A:
Axway/Tumbleweed Customer Training will make every reasonable effort to conduct all scheduled resident classes in Phoenix, Atlanta, Redwood City, and at regional sites in the US and the UK. However, we reserve the right to cancel any class for which the minimum class size of 4 students has not been attained. Those registered for a class will receive an e-mail confirming either that the class will be conducted or canceled. We will send this as soon as possible, but not later than two weeks before class start date. Please do not make non-refundable reservations until you have received a confirmation that the class will be conducted. If the class is canceled we will offer you a reservation in the next available class.

What is Axway/Tumbleweed's policy for training conducted at a customer's site?
A:
The Policy for training Delivered at a Customer Sites is as follows:
  1. A signed registration form/Axway Sales Order must be received by us to schedule your training dates. Without this signed form we cannot commit resources to a training class.
  2. Please see the current Axway Transatlantic Training Course Catalog (www.axway.com > Services > Training for the current customer site-training fees.
  3. Unless otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for instructor's travel and expenses.
  4. To ensure a successful training session, we ask that your training facility meet certain minimum computer, network, and learning environment conditions. See the Training Terms and Conditions for details.
  5. To schedule customer site training please contact Axway/Tumbleweed Training at training@us.axway.com.
