Q:
What are the course prerequisites?  
A:
  • MailGate Administration: Basic Networking Knowledge
  • Email Firewall Administration: Win2003 experience (as appropriate)
  • Secure Messenger Administration: Win2003 experience (as appropriate), suggested EMF Admin
  • SecureTransport Administration: Linux/Windows experience (as appropriate)
  • SecureTransport Development: Some programming experience (Java and/or Perl), suggested ST Admin

Q:
What is your policy on customer cancellations?
A:
Cancellation notice is required a minimum of six business days prior to the start of training. A 20% cancellation fee will be applied for cancellation notice less than six business days before the start of training.
   
Q:
What about Tumbleweed cancellations?
A:
Tumbleweed will make every effort to ensure that training course dates are met. However, Tumbleweed reserves the right to reschedule to a later date. In this case, attendees will be notified of the reschedule no later than five business days prior to the original course start date.
   
Q:
What is Tumbleweed's policy for training conducted at a customer's site?
A:
The Policy for training Delivered at a Customer Sites is as follows:
  1. A signed registration form must be submitted in order to schedule dates. Without this signed form we cannot commit resources to a training class.
  2. Classes are charged per day of training. Please contact Tumbleweed training (at training@tumbleweed.com) for the current customer site training fees.
  3. Pricing applies to 1 - 6 students per class. Additional fees will be charged for more than 6 students.
  4. A half-day of set up is included in the price of training. An additional fee may be required if more than a half day is required for setup.
  5. Customer is responsible for instructor's travel and expenses.
  6. Training services will be billed at 20% of full rate unless cancellation is given at least 15 business days in advance of first class day.
  7. To schedule customer site training please contact Tumbleweed Training at training@tumbleweed.com.

How do I get to your Redwood City location?
A:
Driving Directions to Redwood City, CA location:
1. Take US-101 North or South, depending on your starting point.
2. Take the Woodside Road/84 West Exit.
3. At the fork in the exit ramp, head towards Seaport Blvd. Woodside Road will become Seaport Blvd.
4. Seaport Blvd will split at the dead-end so turn right to continue on Seaport Blvd.
5. Follow it around until you reach 1600 Seaport Blvd, Suite 400, South Bldg.
