Axway Solutions Receive Automated AS1 Interoperability Certification from Drummond Group®

Axway Successfully Completes First-Ever Automated AS1 Testing

PHOENIX, August 18, 2009 – Continuing its legacy of meeting or exceeding industry interoperability standards, Axway’s business-to-business (B2B) Gateway and EndPoint solutions have once more successfully received certification from Drummond Group, Inc. for Applicability Statement 1 (AS1) interoperability.  This was the first time Axway and other vendors were tested using Drummond Group’s patented InSitu® fully automated technology.

AS1 is the protocol by which vendor applications exchange Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extensible Markup Language (XML) or other business data over the Internet using Simple Message Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Transport or email.  The InSitu automation technology enabled Drummond Group to reduce its manual efforts and focus on consistent testing methods and monitoring.
