Tumbleweed Licenses Two Patents to Sigaba
Redwood City, CA – January 14, 2004 – Tumbleweed® Communications
Corp. (Nasdaq:TMWD - News), a leading provider of mission-critical Internet

government, and Secure Data in Motion™, dba Sigaba®, the leader in
securing all data in motion, today announced that Sigaba has licensed Tumbleweed
U.S. Patent No. 6,385,655 titled “Method and apparatus for delivering
documents over an electronic network” and U.S. Patent No. 6,502,191 titled “Method
and system for binary data firewall delivery.” The agreement also provides
Sigaba with the option to license three additional Tumbleweed patents in the
future. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
